Membership Movement Report

The Membership Movement Report provides visibility into membership tier changes during a selected period. It helps merchants track upgrades, downgrades, renewals, membership growth, and overall tier movement trends.


Accessing the Report

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Reports > Customers > Membership Movement Report.
  • Set the report criteria.
  • Click View Online to generate the report on screen.
  • Click Download to export the details list.


Report Criteria

  • Status Change Date Between
    Select the start date and end date for the reporting period.
    The report will include membership movements that happened within the selected date range.
  • Status Change Type:  
    Filter the report by movement type. 
    • All: Show all membership movements. 
    • Upgrade: Show members who moved to a higher tier
    • Downgrade: Show members who moved to a lower tier
    • Renewal: Show members who renewed their existing tier 
  • Previous Tier
    Filter customers based on the tier they belonged to before the movement.
  • New Tier
    Filter customers based on the tier they moved into after the movement.
  • Current Tier
    Filter customers based on their current membership tier.


Members In Each Tier

This section shows the membership distribution by tier.

Column Description
Tier Membership tier name.
Members At End Of Period Number of members in the tier at the end of the selected reporting period.
Members Now Current number of members in the tier at the time the report is generated.

Use this section to compare historical membership distribution against the latest membership count.


Movement During The Period

This section summarizes membership activity during the selected date range.

Column Description
Movement Type Type of membership movement.
Number Of Members Total number of members under each movement type.

 

Movement Types

  • Upgrades: Members who moved to a higher membership tier.
  • Downgrades: Members who moved to a lower membership tier.
  • Renewals: Members who renewed their existing membership tier.
  • Total Movements: Total number of upgrades, downgrades, and renewals recorded during the period.


Movement Breakdown By Tiers

This section provides a tier-level summary of membership movements.

Column Description
Tier Membership tier name.
Moved In Number of members who entered the tier during the selected period.
Moved Out Number of members who left the tier during the selected period.
Net Change Difference between members moved in and members moved out.
Renewals Number of members who renewed within the same tier.

 

How Net Change Is Calculated

Net Change = Moved In - Moved Out

  • A positive value means the tier gained members.
  • A negative value means the tier lost members.
  • A zero value means there was no net movement for the tier.


Membership Movement Details

This section lists individual customer membership movements within the selected reporting period.

Column Description
Customer Name Customer's registered name.
Email Customer's registered email address.
Previous Tier Membership tier before the movement occurred.
New Tier Membership tier after the movement occurred.
Tier Change Date Date and time when the membership movement was processed.
Bring Forward Amount Qualifying spending amount carried forward to the new membership period, if applicable.
Tier Expiry Date Expiry date assigned to the membership tier after the movement.
Current Tier Customer's current membership tier at the time the report is generated.
Current Membership Expiry Customer's current membership expiry date.
