Shopcada POS: Setting up the Store

Setup inventory location for retails

  • From MANAGE YOUR STORE (DASHBOARD), go to SETTING then go to PRODUCT
  • Go to INVENTORY SETTING 
  • Click [NEW LOCATION] to add new location. 

  • Enter the location NAME, then click [SAVE]. 
  • You may click on the pencil icon to edit the location name and status.  
  • By default, all location are active. You can change the status by edit the location. 
  • You can remove a location when there is no stock under it. However, we do not recommend this, so that your report will be complete.

Setup POS for retails store

  • From MANAGE YOUR STORE (DASHBOARD), go to POS
  • Go to OUTLETS to [ADD NEW STORE]

 

  • Enter the SHOP NAME, select the INVENTORY LOCATION for inventory update and currency.  

  • Enter the LOGIN ID, PASSWORD. You will need this to activate your POS with a subscription code issue by Shopcada. 
  • Select the PAYMENT METHODS you would like to support at POS. 
  • Configure the NUMBER OF RECEIPTS print for every checkout. 

  • Configure the receipt header and footer. You may insert logo for branding.  Recommended logo file width is 400px. 

  • Enter the STORE ADDRESS if you offer online reserved.

  • Enable the TAX if your business is GST registered. 

  • Select the MALL TYPE for daily sale update to mall management.

Please contact support@shopcada.com if you don't see the mall you want to integrate with.  

  • Click [SAVE CONFIGURATION]. 
  • Click the pencil to EDIT the store details.

 


Setup staff member login

You may create login for individual staffs, so that you can keep track of sales handled by them. 

  • From MANAGE YOUR STORE (DASHBOARD), go to POS
  • Go to STAFFS to [ADD STAFF]

  • Enter the LOGIN ID, STAFF NAME and PASSCODE
  • Click [SAVE]

Personnel with permission to Manage POS Staffs is allow to manage the staff login.

Manage Message From HQ page

You may setup this message page for communication from back office to the staff at retails.

  • From MANAGE YOUR STORE (DASHBOARD), go to POS
  • Go to MESSAGE FROM HQ
  • Enable the page to make the content visible via POS. 
  • Enter content into the custom page. 
  • Click [SAVE CONFIGURATION].

   

  • To view the message at Shopcada POS, go to menu toggle, tap on MESSAGE FROM HQ


General setting

Configure your POS universal setting here. 
 

  • Click the setting [Requires Register to Open Before Accepting Orders] to allow staff enter opening float and closing cash on hand. 

System will take one Open-Close Register as one complete shift. 

 

  • Click on [Send Welcome Email upon Sign Up via POS] to trigger system to send welcome email to POS customer.
  • Customer email will be submit to MailChimp mailing list too. 

  • If you offer customer to pick up parcel from store, setup this receipt for customer to sign as prove of collection.

  • If you allow customer redeem REWARDS POINTS / STORE CREDIT / GIFT CERTIFICATE during checkout, check the respective box.
  • You need to configure Points and Dollar Mapping for Redemptions, to allow customer redeem the points available. 

  • Once checked, these will be available payment method show at Shopcada POS.
     

  • If you allow your staff to view sales report of the current month, you may turn on the Monthly Report. 
  • Setup the PASSWORD if you required staff to enter password to view the report.  

  • To view the message at Shopcada POS, go to menu toggle, tap on MONTHLY REPORT
